Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference

Dear Youth,

With every passing day, we realize that attitude is the most important aspect of our personality and probably the most defining factor in shaping our lives. The impact of attitude on life is tremendously powerful. As Winston Churchill says it, “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.”

Attitude is all about your personal disposition towards circumstances you are faced with. Most often, we have little control on these situations; however, what we do have control on is our reaction to the same. Could we change our attitude, we would not only see life differently, but life itself would be different!

Attitude, to us, is more important than success, than what other people think, say, or do. It is more important than appearance, than education, than money, or skill. We cannot change what has passed, what is yet unforeseen or the way other people around us react. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. We are convinced that life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it. And so it is with you. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.

Thomas Edison tried two thousand different materials in search of a filament for the light bulb. When none worked satisfactorily, his assistant complained, "All our work is in vain. We have learned nothing." Edison replied very confidently, "Oh, we have come a long way and we have learned a lot. We now know that there are two thousand elements which we cannot use to make a good light bulb."

Best Regards

The journey of Yuva..a movement which was started in 1997 with first rural activation in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar is now currently at crossroads. Since then we have grown leaps and bounds with unconditional and equivocal support from our pillar of strength, the Volunteers. The office bearers of the society are at best in their field and advise on matters pertaining to the work of organization. Now Yuva is poised to take leadership role in order to achieve youth rights and get them out of darkness of unemployment.
Yuva is organising a international conference of youth unemployment & terrorism in order to get direction for its march against injustice, unemployment & terrorism.
In last few years, strong economic growth, has let to increase in consumption levels. But still a third of our youth populations is unaware of the development saga.
